DON'T HAVE MUCH TIME TO WORK OUT? HOW ABOUT INTERVAL TRAINING... AND WHY YOU WANT TO DO IT!!!


So what exactly is interval training?  
It's not as complicated you  think.  

It is simply higher intensity exercises followed by periods of lower intensity exercises   

 I found this video with Jillian Michaels, who gives a great explanation and then gives 3 demos of how to incorporate interval training:

Fair enough, but what are the benefits of Interval Training?  One of them is that you can get a highly effective workout MUCH quicker.  But in order to do so, you really need to push yourself for the higher intensity intervals.  I found a FABULOUS explanation of interval training along with the benefits of it.
