Do You Want Stronger Legs... "Sexier" Legs By Summer???? Hurry... Let's Get Working On It!!

I am going to list some exercises to create lean, long strong leg muscles.  Each exercise will have a video to explain how to properly execute it.  Several of these exercises will incoporate a stability ball, which is one of my FAVORITE peices of equipment to use.  I highly recommend that if you don't have one, that you get one.  They are cheap (starting at around $9.00 or so at places like Target, Marshalls, TJ Maxs and Walmart).  Please refer to an earlier blog post that I made that helps you pick out the size that is right for you:  http://stayfitwithjudi.blogspot.com/2011/01/if-you-could-have-one-piece-of.html


 "LEGS"

  1. Shape the back of your legs with this hamstring curl using the stability ball.  He gives 3 different variations of the exercise.  I LOVE this drill.  This exercise creates strength that will transfer positively for cycling, running, walking and swimming!


    2.  Inner thigh strength and toning.. OH MY.. this is a hard spot to work, but this really gets that target
         inner thigh zone!

    3.  How about the outer thigh region?

    4.  Quadriceps:  This exercise uses a platform step, but you can use the steps at your house or a bench at            the park or a school:  Other leg muscles are engaged, creating long, lean and strong legs!!

    5.  Don't forget the calves!  Here is a great video explaining calf exercises you can do anywhere!!!

And there you have it... 5 exercises targeting different parts of your legs.  Try these at home or at the gym and incorporate them with upper body for either an alternating work out or for a full body workout!!!  Always feel free to join me in any one of my classes to work your body!!  Check out my schedule of classes on the tab at the top of this page!!
