FOLLOW UP TO YESTERDAY'S POST ON ORGANIC FOODS

THERE IS A FANTASTIC MEMBER WHO WORKS OUT WITH ME @ 24 HOUR FITNESS WHO OWNS HER OWN, FAMILY RUN, SUCCESSFUL PRODUCE COMPANY... SHE SHARED THIS WITH ME TODAY WHEN I ASKED FOR HER OPINION ON THIS ISSUE.  SINCE SHE IS SO INVOLVED IN THE BUSINESS, SO DEDICATED TO WHAT SHE DOES AND SO VERY KNOWLEDGABLE ON THE SUBJECT, I ASKED FOR HER OPINION.... AND I DEFER TO HER KNOWLEDGE ON THIS SUBJECT... THIS WAS HER POST AND I FEEL THAT I NEED TO SHARE IT WITH YOU!!


Jackie Caplan Wiggins wrote to me after I asked her to read my post and give me the straight scoop on the subject:
"So I read your article and you do make some good points, but honestly the retail price has less to do with the fact that retailers can charge more because of the label, but rather that the cost of organics is much higher... (due to a number of things that you mentioned).
