Why I NEED Cycling!!!

I made this post below a while back, but now I am adding to it....
I am adding the psychological lift that you get, the endorphine release, that I only get when I Spin (or ride outdoors)...  Sometimes when I am tired, stressed out or just plain wiped out mentally, I still get on that bike.. and within no time at all, I am feeling GREAT, ALIVE and HAPPY.  I love that feeling so much.  I think I am addicted to it!!  If that's my addiction, so be it!  Please read this earlier post below and see the more PHYSIOLOGICAL benefits, but remember, there are also PSYCHOLOGICAL benefits as well!

Indoor Cycling.. Why I Love It!

Nothing beats a 500+ calorie burning workout that gives you killer legs and gluts while being super sweet to your knees, hips and ankles. Not only does indoor cycling shape and tone the bottom half of your body, but it fires up the muscle fibers all over your body, as you engage your muscles and push up a virtual mountain or hill!  You are in charge of the resistance knob, making you absolutely in charge of your workout.

I have been asked if pushing up hills on the indoor bike will create large upper leg muscles.  No, in fact it will create long and lean muscles.  When you push heavier free weights in the gym, sure you can create larger, bulkier muscles, but not on the bike.  Just lean, long, strong legs that really look GOOD!

Indoor Cycling fights the aging process... burns tons of calories... keeps your cardiovascular system strong and in good working order... fights high cholesterol, improving  triglyceride levels... it is a good alternative for those who do not like to jog or run, or who have orthopedic limitations to weight bearing exercise...  creates cardio-respiratory endurance, muscular strength and endurance, decrease of body fat and increase of lean body mass, and a great weight management program in conjunction with a well-balanced diet... AND MOST OF ALL...  IT'S LIKE A PARTY ON THE BIKE, EVERY TIME!!!

Come take one of my classes, see why I love it so much and share in my passion! Cycling, indoor and out, ROCKS THE HOUSE!
