GOALS and GOAL SETTING!! : )

One of the brilliant members from 24 Hour Fitness Cypress wrote this wonderful commentary on goals.  When I read it, I knew I had to post it on my blog!  I hope you enjoy what she has to say just as much as I did!!

THOUGHT OF THE DAY: Goals. We should all have them. And they are so personalized, that no two people's goals are alike. For some it can be a pair of jeans that you have been trying to get into. For others, it is a more ultimate goal than that. Long term or short....goals help us continue to get towards where we want to be. Better, stronger and more full of joy!! We can all get to where we want to be by making goals realistic and manageable. If you are setting yourself up for failure by making a goal that is SO unrealistic that you are sabotaging yourself. If you put these smaller goals in place you will make it to where you are shooting for. Go for it!!!!!!!!!!!

I love what she had to say!  I love setting a goal! I love reaching that goal.. even if they are small ones.  Sometimes, before a class, I will think about a goal for the members... to go a little longer, push a little harder, to impress themselves.  I love it when we achieve that goal TOGETHER!!  

I hope you set goals for yourself, goals that can be acheived.  The sense of empowerment from meeting your goal will give you the DRIVE to make another!!!  

Remember, life is good.... let's make it stronger, healthier, more powerful TOGETHER!!
